Q: Photos in Mac does not synchronize properly with mobile device!
iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012) 3.1 GHz Intel Core i7. 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. Running OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 (15F34)
iPad Air. Running iOS 9.3.2 Build Version 13F69. Sync Photos selected, with "All photos and albums" radio button selected, "Include vides" selected.
We have noticed that the photos in the Mac do not get synchronized properly into the iPad.
- Some photos that do not belong in the album appear there and some photos that are supposed to be there are not there. This is verifiable because the albums in Photos in the Mac are still correct. We created a new album on Mac but after synchronizing it in iPad, not all photos were there and there were some photos included but not supposed to be there. We checked the other albums in the iPad and it had the same inconsistency.
- What's worse, the iPad dates and places are messed up. But if you go to the Mac, they are still correct.
- We synchronize by connecting the iPad via USB cable to the Mac.
- We do #3 because synchronizing via wifi usually encounters some error and does not complete. This is also true when synchronizing the iPhone 6 plus - we have to connect it via USB cable.
We would appreciate solutions to the above. It is frustrating not finding the photos where they should be when you want to share them, especially after organizing them.
Thank you.
