I need to restore contacts from old icloud backup - not latest

I had accidentally signed in as the user of my son's new iphone when I was setting it up and it pulled up my phone list. I started manually deleting a week ago, and noticed a few days later it affected my phone. I have since fixed my son's phone to his own account, but when I try to restore my contacts from backup, it only restores from this morning's backup, I need to restore from a backup a week ago. Is that possible?

iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.2

You will want to go into your account on a computer through https://www.icloud.com/. Once you sign into your iCloud account on the website, go to Settings and look to the lower left corner for Restore Contacts. You will see a number of archive dates. Choose the one that would restore your contacts list to the state it was in prior to this incident.

You can restore from a present backup without losing your restored contacts.
