Q: i lost my photos in icloud during backup. Isthere a way to get them back

Jun 3, 2016 2:30 PMby ManSinha,iCloud is a sync service - it is not an off device storage - for that Google Photos or OneDrive or Upthere.com works better
If you deleted the pictures from the phone - they may be in the recently deleted items folder (which is in Photos)
You can also do a restore of a recent backup done when the pictures were still on the device - but you will lose content between the date of the backup and restore
Deleting the pictures from the phone will cause their deletion from iCloud
You can also import those images to a computer
