Hi Trebor,
You are looking for a template that will print on one side of a US Letter size sheet, and can be folded top to bottom, then left to right to form a 1/4 letter size card.
Here is a model similar to the one I used to use with Grade 4 or 5 students to make cards using AppleWorks. Instructions follow the illustration.
Open a new Blank template.
Go to Pages (menu) > Preferences > Rulers, and check the four boxes listed:
In Pages, click the Document button at the upper right.
Uncheck Header, and Footer; set all margins to 0
(Header and Footer are still checked in the image above.)
Go to the View menu and choose Show Layout.
Repeat, and choose Show Ruler.
Drag the two yellow guides from the rulers onto the page. Place the vertical one at 4.25" and the horizontal one at 5.50"
These guides separate the sheet into the parts that will appear on each page of the folded card. The yellow guides do NOT print, and may be left on the page when the card is printed.
The blue rectangles are needed only to indicate the safe areas for placing text and/or graphics, and the orientation of each quarter on the unfolded page.
The main 'pages' are the outside front (lower right quarter) and inside right (upper left quarter, and rotated 180°). On most cards of this type, the inside left page is usually left empty, and the outside back page has only the name of the company producing the card, printed near the bottom or near the vertical center of the page.
Because these are 'real' objects, they will print unless removed before printing.
Regards,
Barry

Sketch what it looks like unfolded then reproduce that on two pages and print it back to back by feeding it back into the printer if you don't have duplexing in your printer driver.

Thank you Barry that is exactly what I was after 🙂
