Q: Airdrop is missing from Finder or apps MBAir El Capitan 10.11
Airdrop does not show up in finder. It does not appear in apps. I still can use in BUT ONLY FROM MY iPHONE. If I want to transfer anything to my MBA, I have to transfer it first to MY phone. No one else's iPhone shows sees my MBAir to send it, despite that their airdrop is set to "everyone." I cannot find my airdrop application anywhere -- but my iPhone will see my MBAir to send it things.
I have already checked -
my computer is compatible
I have read all the articles on Airdrop
I have insured that the other devices are set to send to everyone
I have mad certain that both bluetooth and wifi are on
I have rebooted both my MBAir and the other device
Any thoughts?
Thanks
MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)
