Fore some reason I all of a sudden cant send pictures from my library in iMessage. I can take a picture while in iMessage and it will send but if I select add from library and I select a picture and hit choose nothing comes up in iMessage. Any ideas?

You are kinda on the brink of normal functioning requirement - I would try to free up some space and see what happens

How much empty space is left on the phone?
Do a forced restart - After shutting down all open apps using the app switcher - invoked by quick double press of the home button and swiping up on each app till it flies off the screen.
Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons down together till you see logo - then release and allow normal boot up

A word of advice - iPhone and iCloud are very good but not the best long term storage of precious images on your phone - please consider moving them - a computer is one option - you can also look at Google Photos or Upthere.com

I have 1 gig of storage left and I did all the others you suggested.
I cleaned up some space, got rid of a bunch of iMessages and the pics are showing now. Thank you ManSinha!
