Hi

When a card is added or updated in iTunes Store, iBooks Store, App Store or Mac App Store, an authorisation request may be made to your card issuer.

This is not an actual charge, just a check to ensure that your payment card is active and able to be used when paying for your transactions.

When a temporary authorisation hold is placed on your credit card or payment method, it will only be for a low, nominal amount. For example, in the US, you might see a $1.00 USD authorisation hold. In other countries, you will see a charge for a similar amount in your local currency. Any such charge will be removed automatically from your card account and will not need to be paid.

1. We have not charged you at all. This is a user to user forum, and we users have no way to charge you for things. nor do we work for Apple.

2. Every Apple purchase or charge is accompanied by an email receipt for it. If you have not gotten one for these charges you would be best served by checking that your E-mail address is up to date for your account at http://appleid.apple.com

3. You can view any charges made through your Apple ID by logging in to http://reportaproblem.apple.com The website will list all purchases made within the lats 90 days.
