Q: Incomplete sync on iPod nano

I have a fifth generation iPod Nano 8 gb, which is sync'd to iTunes on my Dell notebook with Windows 10. My issue is... that a number of songs stop playing about half way through the song. There's a longish pause, and then it moves to the next song. This is not just a few songs, but in some cases, entire albums.

 

I re-set the iPod, and re-sync'd the music. Still does it. If I play the songs from iTunes on my laptop, there are no problems, so I don't think the files are corrupted on the computer.

 

Any ideas?? Thanks.
