disable burst mode when using timer?
HELLOOO - this question is all over the internet with no solution. Is there a way to disable 'burst' when using the timer on the phone? It takes way too many photos!

oof thats so disappointing, but thanks for your answer...
I just want one pic, not 10 - I don't have time to edit 10 photos every time - there should clearly be an option to turn it off. I wish Apple would remember that sometimes their users want things simple - the way apple used to be. And if not, have the option at the VERY LEAST!
"Turn the flash to "ON" and photo burst is disabled."

I believe there is no way to turn off the burst mode. You can edit the resulting (10) photos and choose to keep/delete individual ones.
If you have an iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S+, you can turn on "Live" mode which will prevent the bursts, but then you will get a brief movie instead.
You can submit feedback to Apple:
