How do I restore/wipe clean a old Powermac G4 desktop without CD or password?

I bought a apple powermac G4 desktop (2001) from a thrift store. I need to completely restore it back to factory settings. Does anyone know if this is possible? I do not know the password and I do not have a restore disk/CD. It does work and starts up to be able to be used, but obviously is somewhat useless as I don't have the old users Apple ID password..

Hello,

I don't think the other User's AppleID would help at all. What would you use that for?

You're pretty much stuck without an Install Disc, but...

Reset OS X Password Without an OS X CD...

Admin Hack...

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.
