I know I want to be sure my iPhone volume is working properly at all time as well. Without knowing exactly what steps you've tried so far, I would suggest starting with this article to troubleshoot: If you hear distorted sound from your iPhone speaker
Also, be sure your sounds are all the way up for your iPhone with these steps: Go to Settings > Sounds for options such as ringtones and alert tones, vibration settings and patterns, and ringer and alert volumes.
Have a great day!

Thanks for checking out those settings. It is expected that the keyboard clicks are not very loud. Just to be sure you're not experiencing a software issue, try these steps:
- Please follow these steps to ensure your iTunes is up to date: Get the latest version of iTunes
- This article will tell you How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes
- These steps will tell you how to Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings. Once that's done, set the iPhone up as new and see if you're still having the issue.
If the issue is still going on after that, it might be best to have the phone checked out by an Apple technician so they can see what might be going on. You can go to this link to find the nearest Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to you: Apple - Find Locations
Cheers!
