Q: Magic keyboard2 an Magic Trackpad2 loosing connection

Hi,

this is NOT a question just a Information from an unhappy customer.

Both devices Magic keyboard2 an Magic Trackpad2 loosing connection to my iMac 27" (october 2015). I have been thru all possible activities. Up to apple customer service, where the antenna and all bluetooth and wireless components where replaced. That helped not either.

Usually everybody believes that it has to do with malfunction on the wireless settings etc.. which sometimes is the case. But in my case, my devices (both Keyboard and Magic Mouse) where also replaced, And they still loose connection even while they are connect via USB !

So i believe that both products are not even close to what we expect in a quality product from apple.

My workaround is an old USB Keyboard from 2010 (with an integrated Numpad) and a usb connected Mouse. Funny enough both work, flawless.

So the conclusion is, that both the Magic Keyboard2 and the magic Mouse2 just a badly designed (technology wise) and it is a shame on apple, for a mouse and a trackpad to charge more than 200 €/$ !

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

It is never a waste of time to report these matters via Product Feedback, even though you won't necessarily receive an acknowledgement.   Make sure you include as much detail as you can in much the same way as you've set out the details in this post.
