Then it's OS X Installerl you're looking for. Thats is the installer app which is installed when you download Mac OS X from the app store. It is in the Applications folder, but disappears after you've used the installer.

Jun 5, 2016 9:26 AM in response to WadoTGby Eric Root,Go to the App Store Purchases tab and see if Mavericks is in your list of purchases. If so, download the installer and quit it if it opens after downloading. You can then follow the Apple Support article steps. As an alternative, after downloading the installer, you can make a bootable USB stick to install using this free program which will do all the work for you.
