Hi when you get a notification off an app does it save a pathway in your phone
What do you mean by "save a pathway"? If you tap on the notification, it should take you to the app, is that what you mean?

Jun 5, 2016 4:16 PM in response to Meg St._Clairby Cossie76,HI meg st_clair

If you are asking whether a history of notifications received is stored anywhere in the app, then no. This might help explain it better: https://developer.apple.com/library/ios/documentation/NetworkingInternet/Concept ual/RemoteNotificationsPG/Chapters/ApplePushService.html.

Jun 5, 2016 4:21 PM in response to Cossie76by Meg St._Clair,I don't know as there is a history of notifications stored on the phone. I would suspect not.
<Edit: question answered by my more knowledgeable colleague>
Put a passcode on your phone and no one will be able to access any of the data on your phone.

Notifications are not shortcuts. They are not saved to your phone. Put a password on your phone. If you're really concerned, restore the phone as new, then put a passcode on it. If you're in the U.S., you cannot be compelled to provide your passcode (they may be able to require the fingerprint, though, if you have TouchId enabled).
