i purchased a brand new Iphone 6 S plus and used for a few days, now a different apple ID is linked to it, a Yahoo account that i never had.

I gave away to my wife and went through all steps do deactivate and erase the phone. After the process was done i went to reactivate with her apple Id, and now different apple id is linked. I never had a yahoo account. Sent apple the invoice , as the phone was purchased in a apple store. has been a week and so far no news.

I'm assuming you already reset the iPhone as new...

If the wrong Apple ID is showing up, keep dismissing it until the right one shows up. This seems to be a new security measure by Apple.

I even tried to restore it in DFU Mode. The last time my Apple Id was asked, was to erase the phone, I did all steps asked, and the phone rebooted, at the activation page came this yahoo.com Id that i am not familiar with.

What do you mean by dismiss it? There is no option to do this. I even tried to log with my User ID and password , the Id changed , but at the top of the page keeps saying that this iphone is curently linked to a O*******@Yahoo.com, and my apple ID can not be used to activate this phone. i repeated this 10 times , if this is dismiss lol

i called apple support and sent them the invoice, Imei # everything.

My wife thinks i bought her a second hand POS lol
