Q: My Iphone still asks me for old Apple Id Password

I've changed my Apple Id from the website on my Mac computer and the old ID is no longer recognized there, yet the changes did not seem to synch with my Iphone. I keep getting pop ups to verify and enter password to Old ID...

Now I can't restore my new Iphone to the most recent settings (computer saved restauration) of my old one because it keeps saying I need to deactivate the "locate my Iphone" setting for which I need to enter my Apple Id... the old one....

Appreciate all the help I can get....

Have you tried signing out of the old ID and in with the new ID?

Hi Eric,

Yes,I did... and I can't because the ID does not exist anymore... I actually ended up going to my local AppleStore and even the staff member couldn't figure out what happened or what to do... we tried everything... Even Icloud won't let me in...

Am waiting for an Apple service member to call as we speak....

You should be able to use your current password with an old address that has previously been used for your ID and sign out. Once you have signed out, sign back in with all of your up to date details.
