Q: iTunes takes a long time to start up since I upgraded to Windows 10
I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 a few months back. Ever since then, iTunes takes like 10 minutes to start up. I tried setting to compatibility mode for Windows 7 and other versions. I have tried running it as Administrator. Nothing seems to work. Is there some sort of log where I might be able to see where it is hanging up on startup?
Thanks,
Jim

OK I think I have beat this thing. I have a multi card reader on the front of my computer. I have always noticed that when my computer boots, the bios screen always hung on Generic Flash Card Reader. This corresponds to one of the slots in the multi card reader. I went into Device Manager and disabled this device. After that, iTunes and iCloud act correctly. Thanks to everyone who tried to help with this. If anything, I came away with knowing I really needed to remove QuickTime.
Cheers!
