Rating music using Siri

Hello,

i have never got on at all well with Siri finding it really rather dumb despite years of development. I recently got a new iPhone SE and thought I would go back and see how useful (or not) Siri might be beyond setting alarms and asking it the weather - the only real uses I get from it.

I was curious whether it could be used to give ratings to songs I was listening to on the go so tried what I felt was natural language - Give the current a rating of 2 stars. That did not work at all. I looked this subject up and found an article that stated you could do this if you used the term 'Rate this track x stars'. So I try this out and success, Siri recognises me asking it to rate a track as 3 stars, then another as 1 star but struggles when I ask it to give 2 stars.

I look at the screen and see the problem: it has interpreted my request as 'Rate this track to stars' which strikes me as unbelievably stupid considering the context of the request. And it's repeated too: by default it will use to as its interpretation of that sound.

So my question is whether there is a simple way around this, where I can the daft thing to understand what should be a simple request.

Thanks.
