Q: Home Sharing in iTunes 12.4.1 for Windows

I don't regularly use Home Sharing, but do make use of it occasionally to update the library on my "travel laptop" from my main library on a desktop (both are running Windows 10 64-bit, Pro edition on the desktop, Home on the laptop).  However, since upgrading both systems to iTunes 12.4.1 I can't get Home Sharing to work.  If I turn on Home Sharing on both machines (same Apple ID, of course), and enable the Shared Libraries option in the media type drop down, the option to select the shared library is visible on both machines.  However, if I select the library on the other machine, I get a "Loading <library name>" message for a few seconds, but rather than actually loading anything the message disappears, the local library is displayed, and the ability to select the remote library has gone.  I can only get back to being able to select a remote library by disabling and reenabling Home Sharing on both machines.  I did wonder if this was due to the size of the library on the desktop (around 5600 albums / 89000 songs), but I get the same results when trying to access the much, much smaller library on the laptop remotely.

Anyone experiencing similar issues, and/or able to suggest a possible resolution?
