Q: syncing iPhoto and icloud

I have photos in my iPhoto (mac book pro) and they aren't in my iCloud. I see the folder, but its just empty in iCloud, however there are many photos when I click on iPhoto in my desktop? I want all my albums in iPhoto to be uploaded to iCloud ..

there is no way to use iPhoto with iCloud Photo Library - you can use a browser to upload to iCloud.com but iCloud Photo Library requires Photos and OS 10.11.5
