Q: Link Speed: 2.5 GT/s
The link speed of my Macbook Pro (late 2011) card reader is 2.5 GT/s.
I've looked up what GT/s is and it means nothing to me as far as transfer time goes.
All I want to know is the how fast (in Megabytes per second or Gigabytes per second) the card reader can handle regardless of the type of card inserted.
Also, If the the card makes a significant difference then theoretically:
How fast will it take a 10GB file to be copied to a Sandisk 64GB SD XC 1 C4 card as opposed to a;
64GB Sandisk Extreme PRO 95MB/s SD XC 1 UHS3 C10.
Thanks,
Don
