Hi Lanny - I had some Super Disks way back, but I do not have them now. No - I am referring to the normal 1.44mb and .288mb ordinary - commonly used floppy disks aka diskettes which many pentium computers and Apple desktops used for storage in the 80s and 90s.. The ones I have contain mostly documents and spreadsheets written in ClarisWorks - the standard works package used in Apple desktops and iMacs in that era.
Games are also on these diskettes as they were called, and the three Apples I have - an LcII bought in 1992 and two iMacs - blueberry and graphite are slot loading CD machines sold between about 1996 and 2002. These are still in perfect working order, and have given sterling service to me and others ever since, and I expect them to go one until some component wears out - most unlikely - these products were IMHO designed with longevity in mind - no expense spared by the manufacturer.
