FaceTime not listed for microphone access in settings/privacy/microphone. What is fix?

Settings - Messages - turn iMessage OFF

Sign out of Find iPhone

Sign out of iCloud

Do a forced restart - After shutting down all open apps using the app switcher - invoked by quick double press of the home button and swiping up on each app till it flies off the screen.

Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons down together till you see  logo - then release and allow normal boot up

Then sign back into everything and turn iMessage ON

Go to settings> general> restrictions and turn off all restrictions.

Just your basic trouble shooting. Reset, reset all settings, restore.

Reset. Press and hold both the home an power buttons until the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait until your iPad starts on it's own.

Reset all settings. Go to settings> general> reset> reset all settings. Be sure you have your wifi password handy, you'll need to re-enter it.

Restore. I don't have a clue, sorry.

I have the same problem. I cannot use FaceTime as microphone is dead when using FaceTime.

Facetime is not included under settings/privacy/microphone, like other Apps that use the mic.

Apple plse respond a sap. This is your responsibility. Making money is second to customer satisfaction.

I am having the same issue. I reset the iPad and still do not see where there is an option to add access to the microphone. Any other thoughts?

Thank you. I have done that and no apps, FaceTime, video shows under microphone where it says apps that have requested access tohe microphone would display. Any other thoughts?

Hi I tried all the options you gave but still microphone is not getting activated for FaceTime. Please help it
