Q: Company iPhone 5c Activation Lock by Former Employee
I put a case in with Apple Support to get an iPhone 5c unlinked and it is taking 3 days already, but we submitted a receipt to show proof of purchase. I am rather impatient with the time it takes to get this done. Is there a fool-proof way to keep employees from activating Find-My-iPhone, since we have an in-house Mobile Device Manager (MDM) for locating our stolen or lost phones.
As a comment on all this trouble, I personally think there needs to be a way to disable the feature via a company MDM and only have it for the individual accounts, since this has happened more than 5 times already. I had the luck of being able to contact the previous users of the other phones, but this time the previous user name doesn't match the iCloud account that shows asking for the password.
How do I get faster service from Apple?
