How to clean the iMac 27" display?

What is the best way to clean the iMac 27" display? I am afraid to use a liquid cleaner for these surfaces , but say it is the best. In my case I only clean with a soft, dry cloth. Any suggestion?

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), null

I don't (yet) have the 27" display, but for my 24", I spray Windex or a similar cleaner on a paper towel or microfiber cloth and then wipe the display. Works like a charm and has never caused any problems over the past 9 years I've owned the iMac. Don't forget to carefully blast open ports/vents with compressed air every so often to minimize the amount of dust and debris that collects in the iMac.

Thanks for pointing that out dial. Perhaps that isn't a course of action I should recommend then and it would probably be deleted at some juncture anyway.

To be fair, that is not exactly what Apple states. I am not suggesting spraying directly on the computer and I my understanding is that recent formulations of Windex have very little solvent in them.

From the link posted above…

To clean the display on your iMac, first shut down your iMac and unplug the power cord along with other connected devices. Next, dampen the cloth that came with your iMac—or another clean, soft, lint-free cloth—with water only, and then wipe the screen. Do not spray liquid directly on the screen.
