Cancel Linkedin

I need to delete my linkedin account. I tried the one month trial of job seeker and not i want to cancel my whole account all together. I tried to delete my account but it says i need to downgrade to a basic account first. i should be basic now that my free month is up and my subscription has expired. What do i do to get the premium off my account when its already been expired so i can downgrade to basic and delete my account ?
