icloud notes won't load in browser

I was having the same issue up until just now.

i could view edit notes on my iPhone, however, could not on my Windows 7 PC. Contacts, Calendars, Email, etc load, but Notes will not load and i get the error message you described. I've viewed and edited Notes on my PC for years. hadn't tried it for several months, but this week, when i tried, I was stuck.

On my iPhone, when I was in the Notes App, there was an "Upgrade" option. I had not done this yet.

I just did this ... Upgraded my Notes.. I signed out and back in on my PC and and viola! it's now viewing on my PC. all fixed.

Thanks for your reply. I am not sure you understood the problem raised. For the past several days Notes will not open on my iCloud on any browser as mentioned by shag377. All other Apps (Calendar, Contacts etc) work well as usual. Any further advice would be appreciated.

I must add, I can access my Notes on my ipad and iphone. But I prefer writing and editing complex texts with my PC Windows computer and browser.

I have this problem as well. I can access my notes on my iPhone, but when I try to access it on my PC browser (I've tried both IE and Google Chrome), I get a message that says that Notes won't load. Everything else in the iCloud app (i.e. contacts) works, just notes won't load.

I use a pc and iPhone and Surface Pro 4. All load notes fine. I have used Chrome, Edge and Firefox. I sync with icloud and outlook 2016 on all three devices. So it is possible for it to work.

Thanks Mike. I know it can work - it has worked for me for a long time. I just recently started getting this message.

When you say "Upgrade" do you mean a revision in the app store or something else?

Never mind, I found the upgrade function and it worked!!!! Thank you very, very much!!!!!!

Where did you find the upgrade function? I do not see it anywhere in the Notes app on my iphone. Thank you in advance.
