GGetting log in error message "Apple ID isn't associated with a content provider in iTunes Connect. Apple ID works fine anywhere else I use it. Not an ID error.

iTunes Connect is for developers or publishers. Some months ago there was an issue that was resolved by setting up a per app password for iTunes Connect. This might help: Using app-specific passwords - Apple Support
Same AppleID for everything. I can log in via Web, but can't get in with the App. I get this when I do:

Right, I was told by an email from apple to use Connect for a way to control (in iOS) the artist side of things for my band, that I'm connected to via Connect on the web. My appleID password is correct but I'm still unable to log in.
It appears to me that this question has not been answered for mere iTunes users who are NOT developers. I cannot update to latest iTunes version (need to update before decommissioning iPad Air 2 and transferring to new iPad Pro). I get the above error msg (2002) and cannot proceed. New Pro just sitting unused awaiting a response that will allow me to proceed with iTunes update.
Can anyone describe the fix?

You have two choices. Make an appointment at the genius bar, bring in both your ipads, and tell them to fix it. Your other option is go in digitally with a chat or phone call. You said you have a new provypu get free support - so use it.
The App Store does a very poor job on this. ITunes Connect comes up at the top of the list when you search “iTunes” but that app is only for developers and content providers. You need the iTunes Store.

I'm also having this problem. I don't see any suggested fixes in this thread. Have tried to login multiple times to view an app that is in development that was shared with me. Please help.

How was this solved? I still have this problem. It seems to be a bug with the two factor authentication process.

on vacation and just happened to see your question today. iTunes Connect is a developer tool and has nothing to do with making a connection to iTunes Store, if that is what you expect. I didn't know what it was and tried to use it for connecting to iTunes And that was the reason for my question. My own ignorance. Hope this helps resolve your question.
