"OSXRESERVED" not being removed afte Windows 10 instillation

I did what you said and

disk utililty>partition

and clicked OSXRESERVED on the pie chart

next clicked the minus sign

and click apply.

This safely removed OSXRESERVED partition and reallocated the 8GB space back into my Macintosh HD partition.

And Windows 10 can still boot afterwards too!

So to remove the OSXRESERVED partition properly,

do i:

Disk Utility>Partition

and click OSXRESERVED and click the minus button

to remove it properly?

Someone just messaged me that OSXRESERVED isn't easy to remove and the proper way is to use BootCamp Assistant, and that i should just leave it alone. Another person told me that if I erase OSXRESERVED with disk utility, it would make my Windows 10 Bootcamp partition unbootable.

Can you please give me instructions on how you did it?

After I launch up Disk Utility, Do I click OSXRESERVED and click Erase?

Or do i erase it in Disk Utility under Partition?

And how do you resize your OS X Partition?

Windows has a Blue console for Repair. Please see https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/products/windows?os=windows-10 .

Partition Erase is to erase an existing file system on the partition. This will not renumber your disk slices.

Partition Delete (the ** "-") is to remove the partition. This will renumber your disk slices.

You can either restore the internal disk from a Time Machine backup, or use Disk Utility to delete OSXRESERVED partition.

Is it safe to delete OSXRESERVED partition? i read online that windows 10 becomes unbootable if you delete OSXRESERVED partition.

Deleting OSXRESERVED will renumber your disk slices, including the Windows partition. What year/model is your Mac?

BC Assistant cannot remove OSXRESERVED, unless you also remove your W10 installation.

Can you give me instructions on how you did it?

You can remove it using Disk Utility. If W10 has issues, Startup Repair can fix the issues.
