thunderbolt 1 dock for mbp late 2011

What is a good Thunderbolt 1 dock for a late 2011 MacBook Pro?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Late 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.5)

The idea is fair enough, however now that most Thunderbolt docks appear to be TB_2

they likely are backward compatible to the original Thunderbolt_1.

OWC offers a few. Some reviews online can show how the extra ports and ability to

add audio or other peripherals can be a plus. At some point, I may get one. ATM

my needs for Thunderbolt are near zero; an extra fast backup or a display perhaps.

This kind of dock can be helpful if you use most modern peripherals and/or choose

to backup with faster than USB3.0 external hard drive, among others. By use of

one Thunderbolt cable, you can add a slew of extra ports.

Good luck! 🙂
