Q: How do I ask a question about the response from the support community?

Old Toad - Re: my question about making a simple DVD slide show with iDVD.  I have gotten all the way thru your step 8 with great success.  Thank you.  But I'm stuck after  File > save as disk image.  HOW do I mount WHAT disk image? How do I launch and play the DVD player when I haven't made the DVD yet?  When I experimented with bypassing the "check the encoding", the DVD map said the menu had empty drop zone, How do I correct that?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1), USB SuperDrive

When you use the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option

you'll be asked where to save the disk image to and have a change to set the name to whatever you want.

Wherever you save it it will look like this:

Double click on it to mount it and then launch DVD Player
