Can cookies/website data be at all dangerous?

Hi there, I wanted to clear my browsing history on my phone the other day. Before I did this, out of curiosity I went to Advanced under Safari Settings. Under Website Data, I was interested to see a cookie/peice of website data called dnn506yrbagrg.cloudfront.net. I was curious as to what this was, so I decided to Google it. Several of the results I found were calling it malware. However, out of further curiosity and a bit of paranoia I decided to find out more about this. It turns out that Cloudfront is a web service created by Amazon for faster browsing and marketing. However, I was also reading that hackers have been able to exploit this and create malware redirects with and for adware and malvertizing with .cloudfront.net addresses. I do a lot of online shopping and browsing of online stores with my phone. So I decided to go back and see if some of these sites I visit create these .cloudfront cookies/peices of browsing data. They seemed to, for instance Home Depot's website, after I had cleared my website data of course, created this same .cloudfront cookie listed above as the different website I had visited prior. Vans and Kohl's websites also seemed to have their own .cloudfronts, as well as Amazon having more than one naturally. What I'm wondering though, is why this was listed as malware when I Googled it. I have heard and been told that iOS, unless jailbroken can't get viruses or malware. However, would these .cloudfronts ever be malicious or cause any sort of harm? For those of you who use your phones to do online shopping, which most of you probably do, can someone tell me if you have this .cloudfront Website Data. Also, if this is something to be at all concerned about. Thanks a bunch.
