Q: Why is my iPhone suddenly requiring a daily sign in for my account?

I had to remake my password recently. I had to use Apple Support in order to do it, but it seemed to work. Then it did't work for my iPhone.

 

Again - Apple Support worked with me and the password works. But NOW I have to sign-in again everyday. WHY? And how

do I stop that?

    Do you mean the passcode to unlock your screen, or the passcode to your iCloud account? They are different, and unrelated.

    Hi Lawrence.

     

    Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I am having fits with password issues, Just got back in.

     

    The iphonei ssue is, after changing my Apple password ( which I just had to do again), the iTunes App Store

    has been bugging me everyday to sign in when I first open my iphone. I have turned OFF all apple data access

    buttons on the iphone and it STILL keeps asking. I don't even have an active iCloud  account. 

    I do want OS updates - but noting else. Up until this issue, those have come automatically.

     

    How do I make it stop? It's not asking my iMac -just the iphone. I).

     

    Any helpful guidance will be greatfully appreciated.

    Sign out of the app store on your phone, then sign back in.
