Unable to download apps

Good day support team

please help

I am again unable to download any app's this time on my iPhone 6. This occurred previously on my ipad and I was forced to wipe my ipad and reload all to fix the issue. I was able to download apps without any issues up until the 27th of May - no changes made to my device. I attempted to download an app on Monday 6th of June which was when I identified the issue again. At this stage my ipad still works but my iphone no longer works when trying any appstore downloads. No errors occur, purely that the download button remains or flickers back. The actual down load or update of the app does not take place. I can download music, access safari etc just not download or update any apps. I see this common thread of issue being experienced and common complaint raised when searching the forum and on google!

I have tried a softboot, signing out of my account, changing the date on my phone(removing automatically update date) etc etc to no avail. This is extremely frustrating.

When this occurred on my ipad earlier this year the apple store advised that this is due to a bug on the software version and the only way to resolve the issue is to do a complete wipe on the device and restart set-up. This is a huge impact as I constantly have to back-up data but lose all content downloaded and then have to pay again to download content and pay the associated data charges to download the content which is extremely costly. This is simply not acceptable. Software version 9.2

please help and assist

thanks

Hello Annech01,

I know how important it is to install apps on the iPhone as well. I would suggest starting with updating your iPhone to run the latest version of the operating system. This is best done by following these steps: Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

I would do the update through iTunes so that you are getting a fresh version of the operating system. Just be sure your iTunes is up to date with this article: Get the latest version of iTunes and see if that allows you to install the apps once that is done.

Cheers!
