This has been happening for about 2-3 months now. It's usually an infrequent occurence. Maybe its just me but i feel like its slowly getting more common...
Anyway what happens is, while i'm listening to my iphone on shuffle, it starts the next song as usual but sometimes that song will start from the middle. It's weird. It also happens when im skipping songs manually.

Start with the basic troubleshooting steps.
First, try a simple Reset: hold down the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10-20 seconds).
If this doesn't help, you might need to Restore your iPhone.
Hi, I have this same problem except for well over a years. One song will send at it will start the next song in the middle. Most times when I start that song over it still starts again in the middle. Sometimes, very rarely, it will start the song from the beginning. I've reset my phone several times. I have an iPhone6 and I play my music on shuffle 8+ hours a day. It happens on music I've purchased from iTunes and music I've manually downloaded. Is there another fix besides resetting?
