What do the different external hard drive icon colors mean?
When I connect some external hard drives to my mac they just have a plain silver drive icon. But other drives I connect have an orange/amber drive icon. What do the different colors mean?
Usually the gray/silver icon is the internal HDD. The yellow ones will be external HDDs connected to the MBP. USB drives will be white.
