Touch ID failure and Battery Drain very fast

I recently upgrade my iOS to 9.3.2, after upgrade, my Touch ID is down, and my battery drain very fast, within half a day (5 hours) from 100% to 0% even I am not surfing the net or play games. My screen and back compartment of the phone will be very hot when on the move and is not charging. Does anyone have this issue? Are you able to solve this? I have already done Factory reset twice, it still the same issue, can someone from Apple help me? Thanks.

Hi Freddo75!

To recap, your iPhone's Touch ID isn't working, your battery is draining quickly and your iPhone is getting very hot. I know how important it is to have your iPhone working correctly, so I'm happy to look into this for you. You mentioned having restored the iPhone, after doing the restore you should be choosing the option to "Set up as a new iPhone" instead of restoring a backup. This is how to test and see if this is a hardware issue or not.

If you have already tried setting it up as a new iPhone, then the next step would be to bring the iPhone in to an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider. You can find the nearest service location here:

Hi Darren.s

I have tried it yesterday, apparently the battery issue, overheating and Touch ID issue still persist. Does it mean there is some issue with my hardware instead of software?
