Q: Imovie Project file transfer

I have only Imovie project file which I want to open with other mac. Is it possible? If yes, Please let me know how can I do it.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

    Yes you can but both Macs have to be running exactly the same version of iMovie.  You can copy the iMovie library from one Mac to another using the Finder.  If your events contain media from the libraries of other Mac applications (eg.  iTunes, Photos) you need first to consolidate the media so that it is all copied into the library.  See:  http://help.apple.com/imovie/mac/10.1/#/mov882dee351

    If only 1 project needs to be transferred it may be worth putting it in a separate library.
