Q: apple ID child does not send request

My daughter has an own Apple ID. If she wants to buy an app, a request is sent to my Phone for permission. It worked for a few weeks. Now I don't receive the requests anymore. What is wrong?

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2, daughter iPhone 5S

Make sure if both iPhones are updated to the latest iOS version as it can be the reason of missing notifications. This information may also help you Get help using Ask to Buy - Apple Support

If after checking that your settings for this have not been toggled off somehow, your next step will be to Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support.

The specific issue of "Ask to Buy" not engaging when the setting is enabled and Family Sharing has already been setup and working is worked on by iTunes Support. When calling in, you will speak with someone in iOS Support who will need to verify your ownership of the account in question, and then they will need to connect you with someone in the iTunes department to correct this. Assisting with the setup of Family Sharing is supported by those who support the iPhone. Assisting with troubleshooting of purchases in relation to Ask to Buy is solely managed by iTunes representatives. I stress this, because sometimes advisors can be overly ambitious in their problem solving, and cause you to waste unneeded time.
