My friend was using this mac book and he gave it to me. I reinstalled os x, and after reinstall i can not find numbers, pages, keynote apps. I created apple support profile and added this mac to my profile by entering serial no. but numbers, pages and keynote are not available on my macbook. What can i do to install those apps?

What is more, when installing i used my new apple id not my friend.
Those applications likely were associated with the original owner AppleID.
Any upgrade to the computer software initiated by a different owner would
be tied to his/her AppleID and payment histories; & not transferrable.
{If the computer shipped with a system install software on DVD media, the
included applications for that when new, would have been on those discs.}
The old software versions won't generally work on newer OS X systems.
You can buy new versions of the software in question from the App Store
that will work with the new system you installed; and would be keyed to
your AppleID and account. Expect there to be a fee associated with this.
So to buy the software is a means to acquire those software titles.

True enough, but not likely to have happened with a 2015 MacBook Air. 😉
Wayne has the right approach. Current versions of Numbers, Pages and Keynote should be free with a 2015 machine.
There's a possibility 'free' might apply only to the original owner, so tomras, please post a note here regarding the end result.
