Q: is there a way to connect to wifi when the iphone 5s refuses to recognize the password

My phone started dropping wifi connection a couple of weeks ago and now will not connect at all to my home wifi, always asking for password and then refusing to accept it. This may be an issue with the most recent software update as I did not have problems before.

    Hello.

Have you tried to reset network settings? You can do this by going to Settings, choose General and tap Reset Network Settings. Then connect to the Wi-Fi again.

If it doesn't help, you can try to switch on Airplane mode: temporarily switch on Airplane mode and then turn it off to see if the Wi-Fi issues be solved. Swipe up from the bottom to bring the Control Center > Toggle Airplane mode on for 10 seconds > Toggle it to off.

This step can also help you: disable Wi-Fi Networking in System Service:

Go to Settings, choose Privacy, tap Location Services, tap System Services, turn off Wi-Fi Networking. This does not turn off wireless networking in iOS entirely, only relates to your location being used for Wi-Fi Networking.

    As a final step:

Change DNS Settings to Google: Settings > Wi-Fi > Tap on the (I) button to the right of the router name, then scroll down to DNS and tap the numbers, then enter "8.8.8.8".

I have been having this issue for at least 6+ months now.....I am very tired of not connecting or loosing the connection....

I have tried "Change DNS Settings to Google:

Settings > Wi-Fi > Tap on the (I) button to the right of the router name, then scroll down to DNS and tap the numbers, then enter "8.8.8.8"."

I have my internet and router checked by my ISP........everything is running OK....I was told that all their customers are complaining of the same issue with their apple ipads, iphones, and data plans....the ISP told me that apple is aware of this....it is not the ISP fault and they are not causing the issue.....this is correct...my DELL laptop running

MS Windows 10...100% up time...never an issue with the wi-fi connection at all.....makes me wonder what apple is doing to help their customers ?.......I am concerned...
