Q: Amazon Seller app will not delete from my iPhone6.

Amazon Seller app will not delete from my iPhone6. It is not visible in my iTunes Store account either.  How do I kill this app for good?

    Hello bearf15.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities.  I see from your post that you are unable to delete an app in your iPhone.

Let's start by restarting your iPhone. Steps in article below:

Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then let's attempt to delete the app in question again. Here's an article with detailed steps:

Delete music, movies, apps, and other content from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the app is still not able to be deleted then, on your iPhone, go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Click on your Apple ID and choose the option to sign out. Then please sign back in with your Apple ID. Please make sure you know your Apple ID password before you complete this step. From there, attempt to delete the app once more.

    Have a great day.

Thanks for the help but it did not solve the problem.  The app is ghosted and will not delete.  If I try to update it thru the App Store, the OPEN icon is visible but it will not open.  I'm trying to avoid a reset.

    Hi bearf15.

Next, let's try to delete the app from Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage > Manage Storage (under Storage). Once there, tap on the affected app and select the option to "Delete App".

If the issue persists we would want to perform a Reset All Settings on your iPhone. But before we do, let's secure a backup of your iPhone's data. Here's an article with steps:

How to back up your devices using iCloud or iTunes

The Reset All Settings option resets all of your device’s settings like Wallpaper, Sounds, Display & Brightness, Background App Refresh, Date & Time, and more. It also removes all of your previously used Wi-Fi and VPN networks and passwords, unless you use iCloud Keychain, then your network password won’t be deleted. Removes your Apple Pay cards. Deregisters your iPhone from iMessage and FaceTime. It deletes your Touch ID & Passcode. And if Restrictions are turned on, it resets all of your restrictions. Reset All Settings will not delete any other data.

Go to Settings > General > Reset > and tap Reset All Settings to do so. Please make sure to not tap Erase All Content And Settings, as this will wipe all data from your iPhone.

    Cheers.
