Q: After 24 hours my second episode of my Podcast still isn't showing in the store even though it shows for subscribers. Should I be concerned?
Hi!
I recently published my podcast and my podcast and first episode both published to the store with no issues. However, I posted my second podcast to my RSS feed yesterday and, although it shows to my subscribers, it has yet to be posted to the store after 24 hours. I have refreshed my feed with Itunes as well as validated it to check for errors and everything seems to be fine on my end. Is this something I should be concerned about or am I just being impatient?
Thanks!

When you add a new episode to your feed and upload it, it appears immediately for subscribers because their iTunes application reads the feed directly and the Store is not involved.
However because of the huge number of podcasts in the Store (thousands) the Store caches the feed and checks it for updates periodically. For this reason it usually takes 1-2 days for new episodes to appear in the Store: sometimes it can be less, and occasionally the whole process seems to get stuck and it can take several days.
24 hours is a bit soon to be worrying - as it's available for subscribers it should appear in the Store in another day or two. If it doesn't, go to Podcasts Connect, sign in, select your podcast and click 'Refresh Feed'. Give it time - the Store may take a day or two to update. If it doesn't work, contact Support and ask for a re-index: that may solve it. Go to https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/podcasts/overview and click the 'Contact Us' link at the bottom of the page.
