If your Wi-Fi is capable of generating a 5 GHz signal, try that.
Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time.

Jun 9, 2016 10:14 AM in response to styxelyby Eric Root,As a test, have you tried attaching the keyboard directly to the computer? Do you have access to another keyboard to try? That might help determine whether it is a keyboard or computer problem.
