I started having a problem listening to podcasts in the last couple of weeks. The playback keeps pausing, and I have to keep pushing the play button to get it to continue. Or the playback will skip ahead to the next podcast suddenly. It's as if my phone thinks I am pressing the pause button or the skip forward button when I am not.
This happens most often when I am walking, so maybe it has something to do with the phone getting jostled? I am not inadvertently pushing any buttons, though, it's just a walking motion. It also happens when I try to do something else on the phone (text, email) while listening to podcasts. It's like my phone lost the ability to do two things at once. As soon as a text comes in, or I go to type one, the podcast pauses. It never used to do that.
On an unrelated note, does anyone know how to keep podcasts from being marked as saved? Whenever I sync my phone with itunes on my computer, a bunch of podcasts end up being marked as saved episodes, even though I never asked them to be saved on my phone or on my computer. Often they are episodes I've already listened to, or marked as played because I don't want to listen to them, and instead of getting deleted like they played episodes should, they end up saved.
