Jun 9, 2016 7:36 AM in response to John Lockwoodby HappyjackJR,Hi all,
Thanks to everyone for taking part and sharing your ideas.
My problem is with my Pioneer A/V that's the hub of my setup.
Removing it and connecting Mac Mini directly to Vizio solves HDCP compliant issue.
However, I'll put up with A/V as hub for now and look to upgrade my Pioneer a?v to something new
later this year or next year.
Thanks again to everyone.

Jun 9, 2016 7:37 PM in response to Rudegarby A07570,Ensuring DVI is HDCP compliant can even be more difficult than HDMI. As UHD/4K material becomes more prevalent, and streaming sources work harder to protect their content, HDCP will become a bigger issue. Moving forward HDMI and DisplayPort will be the best bet for HDCP protected material, though I rarely if ever play it on my monitors.
