Q: My apple ID is locked only on my iphone 6s, but it's working fine if I try to access it on my macbook.

Even if I change the password, my phone would still tell me my ID is locked and I need to reset it again. I tried to reset the password and restart my phone, but i would still get "verification failed" every time I try to update any of my apps.

iPhone 6s, iOS 9.3.2

    Hi Linahs,

Thanks for using Apple Communities for help. It looks like you are unable to update your apps on your iPhone due to your Apple ID being locked. If you were successful with resetting the password and still unable to update apps, it could be possible that you are using the wrong Apple ID associated with the apps you wish to update. You may also have two-step verification enabled which requires you to verify your identity using one of your devices or another approved method before you can use it on your iPhone. Please visit the links below to check if two-step verification is enabled on your device, if it is, you can use your MacBook to approve the iPhone.

This should allow you to update your apps as you wish.

I have the same problem, I went through the 2-step verification and added my phone and on my phone it still said my Apple ID was disabled, I even tried turning off 2-step verification, but it still said the same thing. What should I do?
