I changed my Apple ID as my email was no longer valid. Now, I am unable to update some of the games as it prompts for the Apple ID. Does anyone know what I need to do. I have updated the Apple ID on the ipad at the Application Store successfully but still on the game application, it still displays the old Apple ID.
Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Apps and other items are forever tied to the AppleID used to download them.
Either 1] use the old AppleID when updating apps acquired using that ID, pr
2] delete apps requesting the old AppleID and re-download using the new
AppleID. Apps that require payment will have to be repurchased. There is no
way to combine AppleIDs or to transfer items from one AppleID to another
AppleID.
FYI, it is not necessary to create a new AppleID just to change the email associated
with an old AppleID.
How exactly did you change it
Have you signed out of iCloud & the App Store on your device & iTunes on your PC?
iCloud-scroll down to the bottom of the screen & choose sign out & for App Store click on your Apple ID & choose sign out.
