how to add album label to MP3 file
Is there a way on the Mac to add an artist name and album label to an MP3 file?

Once you import the file into iTunes, select it, then do Get Info on it (Command+I). You can modify all tags there.
Otherwise, there are small utilities that will allow you to do this outside of iTunes. Search on the Mac App Store.
