Q: Boot Camp Partition Storage
I have a MacBook Air (13-inch Early 2015), with a 1.8 Ghz i5 Intel Core. My OS is OS X El Capitan (10.11.13)
I was trying to Install Windows 8.1 on Boot Camp. I went through all the steps and It wouldn't let me install because the Boot Camp wasn't formatted in NTFS. I restarted my Mac in order to fix it, but every time I would try to log in some sort of code would pop up and my Mac would crash. I eventually got in and restored the partition storage. When it had finished a message said it couldn't be restored. I didn't think anything of it until I checked my storage and my Flash Storage was down from 123 to 80, 53Gb have disappeared. Please help!

Hello Dschreck,
I understand that you've experienced storage loss after trying to install Windows using Boot Camp. I know how concerning it can be anytime storage seems to have disappeared. I am here to help.
If you can startup into OS X, please use the follow the "Erase your drive and install OS X" portion of the following link:
Important: Before you erase and reinstall, back up your important files. If you’re using a MacBook, MacBook Air, or MacBook Pro, make sure the power adapter is connected and plugged in while performing these steps.
How to Reinstall OS X on you Mac
If you're unable to startup in OS X you can use target disk mode on another computer to save your content.
